Blaz Blue Xbox 360 game. An anime style, arcade type fighting game. The characters are all 2D and typically anime, very inventive different to any game of this type I have seen before. The backgrounds are detailed 3D work, with some interesting and imaginative locations. Calamity trigger is very visually interesting and the gameplay is not too bad either!

The Spooks, Bestiary.
I came across this book in Waterstones, its a monster index for a series of books. It contains some very nice sketches of what the artist chose to make the creature look like. As an art student i realised it is totally fine to buy a book just because i like the pictures! the creature range from very imaginative creatures to ones we know well like witches an orcs. i think this book would prove very useful for reference and ideas for me for future projects, it is also very interesting to look at.
